Farther north beside Öresund, Barsebäck has two complete 18-hole courses that follow different parts of the landscape. Ocean Course begins among woodland and parkland before reaching a coastal links section. Pine Course remains more closely associated with pines, water and changing terrain. The two rounds demonstrate how coast and forest can coexist at one facility without becoming interchangeable. Near Helsingborg, Vasatorp gathers four named courses: the 18-hole Tournament and Classic courses, the 12-hole Park Course and Västra 9:an. Golfers can choose two complete rounds, twelve holes or a traditional nine on the same property.
The eastern side of Skåne continues the story. Kristianstad Golf Club at Åhus has two separate 18-hole courses, the East and West courses. West is an inland-links course, while East forms another complete round with its own route. On Österlen, the golf club combines two 18-hole courses with a six-hole course. Lilla Vik follows coastal parkland, Djupadal crosses more open heath and Korta Vik adds six shorter holes beside the complete rounds. The difference between Lilla Vik and Djupadal shows how one part of Skåne can hold both parkland and heathland golf.
Around Malmö, both hole counts and landscapes change again. Malmö Burlöv consists of three nine-hole loops forming a 27-hole parkland course, accompanied by a separate six-hole course. Sege å, ponds, meadows and broadleaf trees run through the property. At Bara, The National joins the 18-hole Lakes and Links courses with the nine-hole Academy Course. Hylliekroken has a nine-hole short course in Limhamn. Skåne therefore ranges from short urban golf to large multi-course sites, and from seaside links ground to parkland, pine, heath and rolling inland terrain.
Skåne's range is visible in the ground itself, from Falsterbo's sand to the pines at Barsebäck and the open heath of Österlen. Kristianstad's West Course carries links character inland, while Lilla Vik brings parkland to the coast and Djupadal crosses more exposed heath. Near Malmö, Sege å threads through Malmö Burlöv's meadows and broadleaf trees; at Bara, the water and parkland of Lakes differ from the rolling inland terrain of Links. Shorter courses offer additional ways to encounter those same landscapes.
